There is this website called science and development network - www.scidev.net, and they have a special Chinese regional gateway, where it is possible to find all kinds of "news, views and information about science, technology and the developing world".
The bad news: China's total GHG emission have, according to Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, already surpassed the USA's one.
So the question is, will this situation change with the introduction/transfer of new technology? Some points here.
